Happy New Year!

We hope you and your families had a joyous holiday season. We wish you the very best in 2018. In the month of February Tacoma Urban League will celebrate 50 years of service to the Tacoma-Pierce County community. From its earliest days in the civil rights movement, through years of partnership with government and public agencies, the Tacoma Urban League has been a beacon of hope and a catalyst for change in the South Puget Sound. We will reflect on our history through a series of celebratory events and continue to provide you with program, organization, and partnership updates.

Speaking of partnerships, we would like to send a special thanks to our 2017 Luau Sponsors – Columbia Bank, Puget Sound Energy, Coordinated Care, MultiCare, MC Construction/Point Ruston, Asia Pacific Cultural Center, Tacoma Urban League Guild, Tacoma Urban League Young Professionals, Bamford Foundation, Amerigroup, Omega Psi Phi, Tacoma-Pierce County Black Collective, Tacoma Rainiers Baseball Club, Girl Scouts of Western Washington, Greater Tacoma Community Foundation, and Thompson Consulting Group.

Thank you all for supporting the work of Tacoma Urban League. We are counting on your continued support of the Urban League Movement. Together the impact is greater.

With much gratitude,

T’wina Franklin
