Community Reinvestment Project (CRP) Loan Readiness Program

The Community Reinvestment Project (CRP) is a program funded by the Washington State Department of Commerce as part of a statewide $200 million Community Reinvestment Project initiative. Through the allocation for Tacoma Urban League and The Tacoma Black Fund we are offering a combination of loans and grants to support Tacoma-based businesses that align with the CRP’s goals of addressing economic inequities and historical barriers caused by the enforcement of criminal laws and penalties during the war on drugs.

Please note - The dates below are now as follows:

• Applications open for TBF Members: March 31, 2025 (Members as of 3/27/25 will be given early access at 8AM on Monday 3/31 via email)

• Applications open to the Public: April 7, 2025

• Application Deadline: April 11, 2025

• Awardees Notified: April 21, 2025
